  8. April Lee is a freelance illustrator, computer game animator, and artist who has worked on a number of 
  9. CD-ROM games, such as INHERIT THE EARTH, I HAVE NO MOUTH AND I MUST SCREAM, 
  10. HEROES OF MIGHT, and MAGIC II.  She has also illustrated many computer game manuals and role-
  11. playing game books, including DARK CONSPIRACY and MIDDLE EARTH: THE SHIRE.  Her 
  12. collectible card game art can be found in SHADOWFIST, LEGEND OF THE FIVE RINGS, MIDDLE 
  13. EARTH, GALACTIC EMPIRES, QUEST FOR THE GRAIL, FANTASY ADVENTURES, DRAGON 
  14. STORM, XXXENOPHILE, GRIDIRON, and MORTAL KOMBAT.  Her work can also be seen on the 
  15. cover of SCRYE MAGAZINE and in SPECTRUM 2, a collection of the year's best fantasy art.

  17. April's fantasy art has won awards at the World Science Fiction Convention, Westercons, and other art 
  18. shows, where she has displayed and sold original paintings and prints for over ten years.

  20. She holds degrees in Illustration from Art Center College of Design, in English lliterature from Mt. 
  21. Holyoke College, and in History from Oxford University, England.  Her favorite things to do include 
  22. reading sci-fi/fantasy/mystery books and comics, skiing, traveling, and listening to Loreena McKennitt, 
  23. Peter Murphy, Nine Inch Nails, and The Cure.
